En las últimas semanas se habla mucho acerca de la necesidad de la digitalización de las empresas. A pesar de que ha sido un tema que lleva años en primera línea, el coronavirus lo ha terminado de disparar.
Las empresas con presencia online han sido las que han salido airosas de la crisis, y por ello, todas las empresas luchan ahora por ofrecer sus productos y servicios a través de Internet. Durante el confinamiento, prácticamente tener presencia online y poder teletrabajar han sido las únicas alternativas de las empresas para poder seguir con su actividad. Ha sido imprescindible adaptarse a la situación en tiempo récord. Nuevas metodologías de trabajo y nuevas formas de reunirse que han dado el paso a la omnicanalidad. Aquella empresa que no tenía posibilidad de adaptarse a estas nuevas modalidades, ha cerrado en el camino o está buscando cómo llegar a ello.
Tener presencia online, pero con estrategia
Sin embargo, como dice el refrán “las prisas no son buenas”, y muchos negocios están intentando salir al mundo online sin ningún tipo de estrategia ni sentido.
Tener una tienda online en la que ampliar tus canales de venta es una buena idea. Por supuesto, conseguirás aumentar tu visibilidad y tus potenciales clientes. Sí, pero para crear esa tienda online, es necesario que primero estudies tu público objetivo, valores dónde quieres llegar y, sobre todo, si vas tener presencia online, no puedes olvidar que invertir en marketing es casi una obligación. De poco (o de nada) sirve que inviertas recursos en crear un comercio electrónico si no lo das a conocer. En este sentido, una buena campaña de marketing es la que llevará tráfico a la tienda online, y podrá convertirse en clientes y nuevas ventas.
Este es el problema de la digitalización tras el confinamiento. Muchos negocios, al ver el aumento del comercio electrónico, han decidido lanzar sus sitios web para poder vender sus productos y servicios online, pero han olvidado que para que un cliente compre, te debe conocer. Es cierto que nos encontramos en una situación en la que la paciencia y el tiempo escasean en los negocios, pero como dice otro refrán “no se puede empezar la casa por el tejado”, y la digitalización también tiene que tener sus cimientos. Incluso después de una pandemia mundial.
