Durante la cuarentena solapada al coronavirus el apetito del consumidor por el contenido de calidad ha sido absolutamente voraz. Y lo cierto es una buena estrategia de content marketing es oro puro para las marcas (si saben bruñirlo adecuadamente).
En el informe «2020 Content Strategy Report» la consultora WARC identifica algunas claves para ayudar a las marcas a ordenar hasta la última gota sus estrategias de marketing de contenidos:
1. El contenido debe aspirar a formar parte de la cultura
El contenido que toma la forma de canción, de película o de podcast y que está, por ende, estrechamente emparentado con la cultura es el que con más tino conquista las exigentes papilas gustativas del consumidor.
La belleza del branded content más refulgente es que no parece tener pátina comercial alguna. Así y todo, la gente tiene un hambre insaciable de contenido y a veces ese contenido puede ser perfectamente publicidad (que, si es buena, puede convertirse eventualmente en cultura).
2. El contenido puede espolear cambios en el comportamiento de las personas
Al ser capaz de tender puentes emocionales con las personas, el contenido puede ser también un poderoso acicate para alentar el cambio (un cambio que es además más necesario en la era del coronavirus).
En los tiempos inciertos que corren es vital para las marcas conectar con su target mediante contenido relevante revestido de emociones.
3. El contexto no debe deber ser postergado en modo alguno en las estrategias de marketing
Un conocimiento profundo del contexto en el que aparece el contenido desempeña un rol absolutamente determinante en la eficacia de las estrategias de content marketing.
El binomio (importantísimo) entre contenido y contexto da cuenta de su eficiencia haciendo uso de múltiples enfoques (ya sea a través de asociaciones inteligentes o a través del «hickjacking» de soportes relevantes).
En todo caso, y a medida que el contenido se halla cada vez más cómodo en los nuevos soportes digitales, e importante identificar nuevos métodos para que contenido y contexto puedan funcionar de manera realmente simbiótica.
Comprender el contexto es vital para que el contenido y las historias que éste porta sobre los hombros lleguen a buen puerto y tengan final feliz.
